Cecile Casutt von Batemberg is a partner at Horr, Skipp & Perez, where she represents cruise lines, vessel owners, and tour operators in complex maritime litigation. She has experience representing domestic and international clients in state and federal courts and in international arbitration proceedings involving high-exposure personal injury, employment-related disputes, and wrongful death claims, including matters alleging asbestos exposure, sexual assault, and COVID-19-related injuries.

Prior to entering private practice, Cecile served as an Assistant State Attorney with the Office of the State Attorney for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami, Florida, where she gained substantial jury trial experience prosecuting cases ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies. She draws on this trial background to effectively advocate for clients in high-stakes civil litigation. Cecile is conversational in German and Swiss-German.
