Jake Ceballo was born in Miami, Florida, and is fluent in Spanish. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Florida International University with a pre-law certification. He later obtained his Juris Doctor from the Florida International University College of Law. While in law school, Jake worked as a law clerk for a property insurance defense firm. After being admitted to the bar, Jake continued his first party property insurance defense work and later transitioned to auto personal injury and premises liability defense. Since the beginning of his legal career, Jake has employed a zealous but collaborative approach to defending his clients.  

Jake focuses his practice primarily in the areas of Maritime and Admiralty law, mainly representing cruise lines and vessel owners in personal injury litigation.
