HSP EARNS A DEFENSE VERDICT FOR CELEBRITY CRUISES

August 9, 2013 Announcements

Horr, Skipp & Perez recently secured a victory for Celebrity Cruises by successfully defending the cruise line against an alleged personal injury lawsuit. The case involved a female passenger who claimed that her fall and subsequent injury were due to a defective step onboard a Celebrity Cruises vessel. A decisive defense verdict was attained on August 9, 2013—following five days of trial and a stirring closing argument by lead counsel, David J. Horr. The HSP trial team, which included co-counsels Stephanie H. Wylie and Daniel S. Marcotte, were able to present a compelling case that diffused the opposing counsels’ unfounded allegations of negligence and spoliation on behalf of Celebrity Cruises.
