HSP GETS APPEAL DISMISSED

Stephanie Wylie persuaded a guest personal injury plaintiff to dismiss his appeal In the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. The district court entered summary judgment in favor of the shipowner on the guest’s claim arising from a fall involving the bunk bed ladder in his cabin. The successful negotiation resulted in the shipowner averting significant cost in defending the summary judgment on appeal and eliminated the potential exposure of an adverse result on appeal.
